I initially joined Sahyadri School in the 6th grade, drawn by the fact that my sister was already studying here and by the exciting prospect of living atop a beautiful hill for eight months a year. Over time, Sahyadri completely transformed for me; it ceased to be just a school and became a place I constantly longed to return to—a home woven together by my favorite memories and the constant opportunity to create new, cherished ones.

The freedom of this environment has allowed me to dive headfirst into campus life. I have loved expressing myself through theater, taking the stage in productions like O’ Captain, My Captain, Mahabharat ki Gathaye, and We the People. Alongside performing in the annual Christmas Carols and organizing student celebrations for New Year and Friendship Day, I’ve stayed deeply engaged in our community as a regular member of the Phoenix Club and the Hilltop Entrepreneur program.

My time here has truly been defined by balance—whether I’m building grit during five years of football camps and rugged Himalayan treks, contributing to sustainability through farming, campus cleaning, and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), or connecting with the wider community through rural outreach.
