Sahityaa Gaded
Student (Class 12)
I joined Sahyadri in the 8th grade, and over the years, it has become much more than just a place of education. Now, as a student in 12th grade, I can look back at how Sahyadri has helped me academically, personally, and socially. I chose Sahyadri because of its unique approach to education and how it focuses on the overall well-being of a person. The school’s principles of independent thinking has helped me to question, explore, and think critically. Sahyadri as a school has given equal importance to my non-academic experiences as well. It has also instilled a sense of appreciation towards the nature around me. My years here have prepared me for life beyond school.
Over the years, I have actively participated in a wide range of academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities. I have had the opportunity to give multiple sitar performances and participate in school plays. I have been actively involved in sports, ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) activities, assemblies, excursions, and numerous hikes, including a Himalayan trek. As a member of the Student Council, I served as the head of the Cultural Committee for a term and also contributed to the school newsletter. I was also part of the farewell decor team.
Academically, I have participated in the IOQM and NSEJS examinations.
