I joined Sahyadri School in Grade 6.

During my time here, I have taken part in numerous events. Most notably, I regularly perform as a percussionist and tabla player during our musical mornings, known as Geet Gunjan. Through these sessions, I have realised how pivotal rhythm is to the music. Inspired by this, I started the Tabla Club, where I teach my peers to look beyond simply playing along to songs. Because I value mental and physical well-being, I also participated in and facilitated the Fitness Club. I explored other interests through the chess and weaving clubs, although they eventually faded out because of low participation.

I have also been involved in several plays, including We the People, which highlighted everyday social issues; a production about the life of the legendary singer Tansen; and our most recent re-enactment of Dead Poets Society.

I decided to join Sahyadri because I have always felt a strong connection to the school. Most of my first cousins studied here, and hearing their positive feedback and fond memories inspired me to come. Since arriving, my life has changed in the best ways. Sahyadri has also taught me to value physical fitness and become involved in extracurricular activities.
